The beautifully decorated bedrooms are a wonderful place to come back to after a day of exploring Gilbert. With four stylish rooms with comfortable beds, there’s plenty of space for large groups.

The master suite has a plush king-sized bed, a large closet, and an ensuite bathroom, providing plenty of privacy! Step into the second and third bedrooms, each featuring a comfortable queen-sized bed. One of the bedrooms has a Southwest desert-inspired design while the second pays tribute to the nearby mountains.

The fourth bedroom is perfect for the little ones as it features two twin floating Teepee beds, string lights, and an infinity board, loaded with plenty of games to keep children entertained. There’s also a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate additional guests.

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆

The stylish bathrooms are equipped with ornate gold hardware and green cabinets, playing into the Southwestern theme of the house. The first bathroom is ensuite to the master bedroom and features a walk-in shower with a gold Moen shower head. The second bathroom is located in the hallway and includes a shower/tub combination, so you can choose how you want to wash up after a day outside. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided for your convenience so you can pack light!

Everything in the newly remodeled Prickly Pear House is top-of-the-line, including the fabulous kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to feel right at home and cook some delicious meals during your stay.

Be sure to swing by the Saturday Farmer’s Market just a few minutes away to stock up on local products before cooking a fantastic meal using high-end appliances. The waterfall quartz island gives you plenty of space to prep and provides a great surface for snacks and drinks while socializing.

Get your day started with a cup of coffee from the coffee bar, located around the corner from the kitchen. Here, you’ll find a Keurig machine, a drip coffee machine, and coffee pods. Enjoy your morning pick-me-up at the kitchen counter, with seating for two. When you’re ready to sit down for a meal with your whole group, the large dining table offers a stylish spot with a lovely view of the patio.

The air-conditioned lounge is the perfect place to hang out and relax with your group. Sit back on the large leather sofa or loveseat while you watch a show on the Fire TV. You’ll love the cactus decor, making this a true desert oasis. Spend time with the family doing fun things like playing board games or researching activities using high-speed wifi.

Need to keep your clothes clean? An in-suite washer and dryer are available for your convenience.

Your group will love spending time on the large outdoor patio. On hot summer days, the commercial misting system and plunge pool are just what you need to keep you cool. Relax on the comfortable lounge chairs on the redwood deck and soak up the sun. There are two additional seats located in the yard, so you can sit back and watch friends and family enjoy a game of cornhole on the beautiful evergreen artificial turf.

The outdoor gas grill is perfect for taking advantage of sunny evenings when you’re in the mood for a lively BBQ. You’ll find a beautiful wooden outdoor dining table to enjoy meals while being illuminated by the warm glow from the charming string lights. If you would like to bring your furry friends, there’s a dedicated Puppy Palace dog house with his and her entrances along with a gated dog run, so your pets can also enjoy a fantastic holiday.

This spacious home is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of incredible downtown Gilbert and its plentiful eateries, bars, and shops. Please note that a part of the charm of this property is its location directly next to a train track. We embrace this as a part of our local heritage, but we understand that a home next to an occasional live train is not for everyone. If you are extra sensitive to the sound of an occasional train, please choose a different property.

Additional notes

While we'd LOVE to host your family and friends, you should know that there is a railroad track located directly behind the Prickly Pear House with a live train. We believe it adds charm as it's part of our local heritage. However, if an occasional train is an inconvenience to you, PLEASE do not book this property. TPT21429004-002

Neighborhood overview

The Purple Prickly Pear is located just steps from Downtown Gilbert, an easy walk to local bars like the White Rabbit (ask us for the password to get in), and world class restaurants like Romeo's Cafe, Postino's, and Culinary Dropout. Great dining is also available at the Porch, Liberty Market, OSHO, Oreganos, Joe's BBQ, and Snooze.

Getting around

Walk to Downtown Gilbert, or drive just a few miles to hop on the 60 or 202 to get anywhere, fast.

House Rules

Check in is at 4:00pm (no exceptions)
Check out is 10:00am (no exceptions)
Guests must be 25 years old to make a reservation.
All smoking is done outside of home.
Drugs, including marijuana, are not permitted IN or AROUND home.
Pets need to be crated or in dog run when you are not in the home, not allowed on furniture, beds and blankets. Guests are responsible for any damages.
You MUST clean up after yourselves and not leave trash laying round, animal waste, or debris for our cleaners.
Vape pens, smoke, incense, candles are not permitted in the home and a fee of $500 WILL be assessed if you violate this rule.
Please run the dishwasher before you checkout.
Max number of guests allowed in the home during the day are ten, and sleeping in the property is eight.
Guests should not create excessive noise, use inappropriate language, or cause a disturbance for neighboring properties. STRICTLY ENFORCED are neighborhood quiet hours from 8pm to 8am. If you plan to party, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE. It is our home and you must treat it as such. We will cancel your reservation and ask you to leave if you cannot abide by this rule.
Owner is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises. The homeowners are not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables by guests. By Accepting this Reservation, it is agreed that the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others home they invite to use the premises are not the owner’s responsibility.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order, removing any items from the home, including living and kitchen furnishings, is not permitted.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the home.
Please lock all doors and windows upon departure.
There is a plunge pool on property. While it is only a few feet deep, children can be seriously injured or drown in shallow water. You MUST watch your children in backyard and around plunge pool at all times.
Failure to comply with the above rules will result in possible additional charges. Booking through Airbnb assigns your consent to all terms listed under “House Rules."
